Train Rides & Railways

In 1905, President Teddy Roosevelt described the Royal Gorge Route as “the trip that bankrupts the English language!”

The Georgetown Loop Railroad was one of Colorado's first visitor attractions, completed in 1884. This spectacular stretch of three-foot narrow gauge railroad was considered an engineering marvel for its time.

After many months of research, planning and community support the Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway, will reopen in 2021.

And, for the little people in our lives check out the World Famous Tiny Town & Railroad, just a short drive west of Denver into the foothills.
